04 · The question

Four decisions, one address.

A city gets chosen on a feeling and a tax rate read on a forum, and the rest is discovered after the move. We model the whole thing at once: the jurisdiction, the passport, the cost, and the life. The address that ranks first for a founder with an exit ranks lower for an executive on salary, and neither ranks first for a family that needs a school and a direct flight home.

I

Where

Effective tax on your real numbers, not headline rates. Visa path for your actual passports. Distance to the people you love.

II

Which passport

Mobility, time to citizenship, dual nationality, and the investment routes that still exist in 2026.

III

What you keep

Income tax, wealth tax, and the exit charge of the country you leave, compounded over 10 years on your numbers into one figure.

IV

What it looks like

The school run, the water at 7am, the cost of an ordinary day. The part every spreadsheet forgets and every family remembers.

05 · The Patrician Engine

Your numbers. Ranked.

Move a slider and the world reorders itself. Every ranking is computed live from your inputs. Tap any city to see an ordinary day there.

Enter your actual position, not a rounded one. The dossier is computed from exactly these figures, so an approximate income or exit gives you an answer about someone else.

Inputs

What an annual wealth tax would be levied on, alongside whatever the exit leaves. Leave it at zero and no wealth tax is modeled.

How long you expect to stay. An exit and the charge for leaving happen once, income and wealth tax repeat every year, so the horizon changes which of them decides the answer.

Pick none and the whole board is ranked. Pick one or more and the ranking is scored against those addresses only, so the spread comes back.

What you refuse to compromise on

The ranking is already computed on what you set. This takes you to it.

Two are closing now, on published dates. Panama's $300K residence floor rises to $500K after 15.10.2026. A Puerto Rico Act 60 decree filed after 31.12.2026 pays 4% instead of 0%. Every door above closed on people who were still deciding.

    Why this is unsigned

Patrician publishes without a byline. Every figure taken from a public source is cited to that source, and every judgment that is ours carries a gold e, for editorial. Check the first without trusting anyone. Read the second knowing exactly whose opinion it is. A name on the cover would ask you to believe a person rather than read the work, and the work is what is for sale.

Straight answers. If yours is not here, hello@patrician.ch answers within 24 hours.

Where should high earners live in 2026?

It depends on income, passports, household and home base, which is why the engine ranks all 100 addresses on your own numbers. On the default reading, the Gulf and Monaco lead, since income, gains and wealth are taxed at 0% there. The full ranking, with the top 3 from London, New York, Zurich, Dubai, Singapore and Tel Aviv, is on where should high earners live.

Which countries have no inheritance tax?

Among them the UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel, Austria, Cyprus, Mexico and most of the Caribbean levy none. Monaco, Portugal and most Swiss cantons levy one but charge a spouse and children nothing. Every country on the board, with what a child pays and the source, is on countries with no inheritance tax.

Is this tax or legal advice?

No. Patrician is an independent publisher. The engine gives you an indicative ranking on simplified 2026 rules, and the Dossier turns that into a written report, with the questions the dataset leaves open. Nothing on this site is advice and nobody at Patrician acts for you. Counsel signs off, we do not.

How accurate is the tax model?

It uses headline marginal brackets per jurisdiction, treats US citizens as taxed worldwide, and flags special regimes rather than applying them. Wealth tax is modeled when you enter investable assets. Social contributions, most deductions and treaties are left out. It is built to rank, not to file. The Dossier runs the same model on the same settings and sets out, city by city, what the model leaves to counsel.

What exactly is in the Dossier?

Ten chapters on your exact profile: the tax picture for each of your top 3 on your income and your exit, what leaving your home country costs, the realistic route in for the passports you hold, the wealth tax where one applies, cost of the life, schools, housing corridors, flight times, and the questions to put to counsel before anything is signed. Chapters 1 to 3 open free. Read a sample.

Why $250 now and $500 later?

The Dossier is priced at $500. The opening clients pay the founding price, $250, until 31 October 2026, midnight Zurich time. After that the price is $500.

    How fast is delivery?

About 2 minutes. The Dossier is written automatically the moment payment clears. The page you paid from opens it by itself when it is ready, and the same link arrives by email with the PDF.

    Can I get a refund?

Yes. Read all 10 chapters, and if it isn't worth $250, one email to hello@patrician.ch within 7 days of delivery, no reason needed.

Why is my city ranked where it is?

The ranking is your weights applied to 8 axes: net kept over the horizon you set, safety, schools, sun, distance from home, beauty, cost, and ease of entry. Move a slider and the order changes. Two people with the same income get different answers, which is the point.

Where does the data come from?

One number on the card comes from a single outside source: the net millionaire flow, Henley & Partners' annual estimate of millionaires moving in and out of each country. It is one line per country, so it sits on the card as context, not as a score.

Everything the engine ranks on is built here. Tax is computed from each jurisdiction's own statutory brackets, surcharges, and inbound regimes, applied to your income and your exit, which is why Zug and Zurich give different answers and a headline rate never appears. The visa doors are read from each program's current rules and thresholds, jurisdiction by jurisdiction. Cost of the life, safety, schools, and sun hours are indexed against Zurich at 100 from public records. The wealth signals, watch houses, supercar dealers, and the street index, are scored by us, city by city, from what is actually on the ground.

All of it is indicative for 2026 and changes often. Nothing here is confirmed for any individual. The Dossier lists the questions the dataset leaves open.

    Who is behind Patrician?

An independent publisher, not a firm. It exists because the people who can live anywhere mostly hear from parties with something to sell: a banker who wants the assets in his booking center, an agent who earns on the property, a forum thread written by someone with a different passport. Patrician sells none of those. The engine ranks the board on your settings and the report is assembled automatically. Discretion is the product: no client is named and no case is published.
